RITUAL CARNAGE Re-Sign With Osmose, Prepare New CD
January 15, 2002Japan's RITUAL CARNAGE have signed a brand new two-album deal with Osmose Productions and will enter Hachioji Recording Studio in Hachioji, Japan on February 15th to record their third album. In the works for the last two years, the upcoming effort is expected to be the group's “heaviest, and most complex release to date”, featuring a musical direction that is being described as “heavily in the vein of Bay Area thrash”. 10 songs will be recorded for the full-length and three bonus tracks for the LP/picture disk. RITUAL CARNAGE's current line-up consists of the members from the group's second release, 2000's Every Nerve Alive, and includes the addition of guitarist Wataru Yamada, who has reportedly written nearly half of the forthcoming album. RITUAL CARNAGE will be joining Relapse recording artists EXHUMED for a short Japanese tour in April that will cover Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Nagano, with additional dates to follow.
